City residents go to the polls Tuesday to elect council members and in most cases, a mayor.
Polls are open from 12 to 8 pm as follows:
• Churdan – Community Center in Churdan
• Dana – St Brigid Parish Center in Grand Junction
• Grand Junction – St Brigid Parish Center in Grand Junction
• Jefferson 1 – Voters who live mostly east of Wilson and south of Perry St, south lobby of the courthouse
• Jefferson 2 – Voters who live mostly north of Westwoood Dr (from western edge of precinct, which includes Lincoln Ridge Estates) to High St, north of Lincoln Way from High St to Wilson, and north of Perry St from Wilson on east, Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall
• Jefferson 3 – Voters who live mostly south of Westwood Drive to High St south of Lincoln Way from High St to Wilson, and mostly west of Wilson, Greene County Community Center
• Paton – Shriver Community Center in Paton
• Rippey – Rippey public library/Community Room
• Scranton – Scranton city hall
Any voter who is physically unable to enter a polling place has the right to vote in his or her vehicle. Contact the county auditor’s office at 515-386-5680 for information.
